How to play
- Compare the two decimals and select the greater value, or choose Equal.
- Use tenths, hundredths, and thousandths from left to right instead of counting digits.
- Read the place-value explanation after each answer and complete ten comparisons.
What this game practices
Useful for revealing misconceptions such as treating 0.45 as smaller than 0.5 because 45 is larger than 5 in whole-number thinking. The game practices comparison but does not introduce decimals with physical models.
How we checked it
Original coolmath game. The reviewed item bank deliberately includes trailing-zero and unequal-length decimal pairs that expose common place-value errors.
