Effective date and scope
Effective September 20, 2026. This notice describes the current coolmath browser games, editorial pages, local preferences, first-party production traffic measurement, and ordinary hosting records. It does not claim that a future advertising, consent, contact, or account service is covered before that service is selected and documented.
Accounts and game input
The current site does not offer accounts, public profiles, chat, comments, leaderboards, payments, or saved cloud progress. Original games run in the browser. The site does not intentionally transmit game answers, scores, selected tiles, typed arithmetic responses, or puzzle moves to a server. A refresh can reset game state.
Local browser storage
Optional favorites and recently played items are stored in the browser profile under the keys coolmath:favorites and coolmath:recent. They are not an account and are not included in the production traffic-measurement request. A one-time migration can copy values from former development keys on the same browser. Clearing site data, changing profiles, or using private browsing can remove these preferences.
First-party traffic measurement
On a production hostname only, one same-site /collect/ request sends browser language, local visit time, time zone, and referring-page address. The request includes an empty compatibility parameter and no game answer, search text, favorite list, name, email address, account identifier, or advertising identifier. It does not run on localhost or 127.0.0.1, where the endpoint returns an empty 204 response for testing.
Server and security records
The hosting or delivery environment may record the requested path, request time, network address, browser or user-agent details, referring page, response status, and transferred bytes for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security. Retention, access controls, backups, and deletion schedules must be inventoried in the final production environment before launch claims are finalized.
Children and mixed audiences
The service minimizes interactive collection and does not invite a child to create a profile, post publicly, or send school records. Adults should supervise younger children and follow school or household device policies. The operator has reviewed the current child-directed and mixed-audience data flow for launch. This notice describes the implemented service and does not claim certification, regulatory approval, or coverage of future advertising, accounts, forms, or third-party services.
Advertising and third parties
No AdSense publisher ID, advertising code, behavioral-marketing tag, third-party analytics, social widget, or third-party game embed is included in the current build. Before adding any such service, coolmath must inventory its requests, storage, purposes, providers, retention, regional consent needs, and user choices, then update this notice before the code runs.
Choices, security, and contact
Visitors can clear local preferences through browser site-data settings and can block scripts, although doing so disables interactive features. Internet transmission and browser storage cannot be guaranteed perfectly secure. Send privacy questions to [email protected] and include the relevant URL, date, browser behavior, and request without sending passwords or other sensitive records.
